			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Some ask why Montessori education is better than the traditional teaching method. This is my attempt to answer this important question. There are many benefits to Montessori education.  Here are just a few of the special Montessori rewards for your child.</p>
<p>Children taught in the Montessori Method gain a tremendous amount of self-worth. They develop into independent individuals. Montessori children learn to be organized and focused. The children understand that they have their own ability to learn new things, master new skills, solve problems, and to do things well.</p>
<p>Another focus of Montessori education is to help children feel empowered and balanced in their lives. Montessori children learn that their ideas and decisions are important and have value. They learn from mistakes and to take responsibility for their actions.  This personal accountability carries throughout their lives to make responsible and contributing members of our society.</p>
<p>An important way that children tend to learn is through doing.   The Montessori education provides the tools and activities to help the child develop their skills and abilities. But, also prepares the children to excel academically.</p>
<p>Another important aspect of Montessori education is learning conflict resolution.  That means how to approach situations to find a non-violent solution. They learn that there are peaceful methods to resolving conflict with their peers and others.  They not only learn it about actually demonstrate this peaceful approach in the classroom. The Montessori Method teaches children how to live in a community and how to re-solve conflicts peacefully. This education shapes leaders, but also the children know how to work as a team.</p>
<p>These are just a few benefits of Montessori Education.  There are many more ways that Montessori learning helps children develop and grow to be confident, independent and knowledge members of society.
